Your Word is a Lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

I was about 10 years old when I first heard about the Appalachian Trail.  My sister and I would spend every summer with my grandparents in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. Often times we would picnic beside the trail. I have a picture of Nana and me standing beside one of the signs marking a trail crossing. Lingering at Easter!

Sunday we celebrated the joyous Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Easter is the most holy of all Christian celebrations or holidays. However, I am afraid that for most of us, in the Baptist tradition, we have relegated it to one Sunday of the year; a very important Sunday but nevertheless a one day event.
