Be Strong and Courageous

Do not be afraid, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Perseverance, the Mark of a Winner!

While a student at Samford over 35 years ago, my voice instructor (Dr. Paul Richardson) gave his freshman class an article that made a lasting impact on my life. The article was entitled: Perseverance, the Mark of a Winner. In the article the writer espoused how “talent” alone would not guarantee an individual’s success.
