Excitement

Our family vacation for this past Summer was planned for the last week in July. We had all of the plans made for our condo and all the meals. We could not wait for this week to get here. We were excited because all of our kids and their families were going to be there for the entire seven days. Moving Forward

Sunday was our Children’s Music and Missions Kick-off, featuring guest percussionist Carol James. Carol did an outstanding job playing Marimba in worship and leading our preschoolers and children in the afternoon! Be a Witness

This week we had the privilege of hosting the National Night Out event for the Forest Hills neighborhood. As I participated in this event, I was reminded that if we are serious about being an Acts 1:8 church, then we must begin in our own neighborhood. Many times we refer to Eastern Hills with the phrase, “A Church for all Montgomery.” God has planted Eastern Hills in the Forest Hills neighborhood and we want to be faithful to what God has called us to do. Gratitude
