| At the conclusion of the message in each worship service, a public invitation is given for anyone who wishes to come forward and express a desire to join the church in one of the ways below. It is often the case that a person who wishes to join has had a previous discussion with one of the pastors about their decision. For those who need baptism, a date is set through the pastor’s office and membership will be discussed along with baptism. |
Ways to Join Eastern Hills
If you are a Christ-follower in our area and not a part of a local Bible-believing church, then we invite you to consider joining us at Eastern Hills. We will guide you along the steps to becoming a member at Eastern Hills.
There are three ways to join the church:
1. Profession of faith — express your desire to follow Christ with your life and be baptized by immersion.
2. Transfer of letter — indicate that you are a member in good standing from another Baptist Church.
3. Statement of faith — indicate your belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and your willingness to follow the Southern Baptist Confession of Faith
