Vision
Statement
The
Women's Enrichment Ministry is committed to meeting the diverse needs
of today's woman through encouragement, prayer, guidance, Bible study,
and fellowship. The ministry seeks to empower women with a sense of God
and each other, to enable and equip them to become whole in Christ, and
to bless them with the love, grace, and truth of Jesus Christ.
The Ministry
The
WEM is directed by a ten-member leadership team which meets monthly to
pray for and plan the activities of the ministry. Many other women are
involved in a variety of leadership positions. Ongoing activities include
morning and evening Bible studies, new member assimilation dinners, a
mentoring program, an encouragement ministry, overnight retreats, and
the Open Heart newsletter. Special events designed to meet the spiritual
and emotional needs of women are offered throughout the year. All EHBC
women as well as guests from the community are encouraged to participate
in this ministry.
