Trust in the Lord

More than ever I am reminded of the Proverbs 3:5-6. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Do we love God like our dog loves us?

SECURITY…In what do you place your trust?

Psalm 20:7 (NIV) Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. David authored Psalm 20. A couple of commentaries I read propose it was written as a prayer on behalf of the people for the king (David) before battle. The first part of the Psalm acknowledges that victory in the battle comes from God. He is our ultimate protection.
