Greg was born and raised in Miami, FL. He is affectionately known as “Father Goose”. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of six at the First Baptist Church of Perrine, FL. Greg came to Eastern Hills Baptist Church in February of 2004 from the First Baptist Church of Paris, TX.

Christian Discipline

I was not a very gullible child. I guess it was because we did so much camping in the Everglades.  My brother, sister and I grew up with a healthy understanding and respect for nature so it really should not have been such a big surprise to my scout leaders when I would not go on a “snipe” hunt. Battle Stations

Proverbs 22:6: Train up a Child in the way He should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. The Mission Statement for our Church is to Follow God, Reach People and to Teach Others to do the same. The Children’s Ministry is no exception to this rule. Christmas Time

There is no question that Christmas is my favorite time of the year. The shepherds watching their flocks by night is my favorite part of the Christmas story. I do not know why, maybe because the shepherds were camping out at night watching animals. As a kid, that seemed like the ultimate job. I loved camping and I loved animals. GIVE THANKS

Psalm 107:8-9 “Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.” Most of us have fond memories around our parents’ table at Thanksgiving.
