Servants

Keith Pate

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. I Peter 4:10

We have many “servants” at Eastern Hills Baptist Church. They work behind the scenes day by day, week by week, to make sure the life of the church flows without interruption. They give selflessly with no thought of accolades.

The church picnic is one of the places these pillars of grace sparkle best! To each and every person who helped make the church picnic a success: Thank you!! It would not be possible without numerous people who worked tirelessly to make it a reality. To the set up crew, food prep, registration, sound and tear down crew – Many, Many Thanks!! Your work is greatly appreciated!

We had well over 300 in attendance this year! I was excited to see so many children, young families and guests attending! I know many of you made the extra effort to use this annual event as an outreach opportunity! To God be the glory!

…whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. 27 And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. Matthew 20:26-28 NKJV.
